Expanding Microspheres

It is off-white spherical plastic particles with diameters ranging from 10 to 45 micrometers. These specialized foaming agents feature a core-shell structure, consisting of a thermoplastic acrylic polymer shell and a core filled with alkane gas. When heated to a specific temperature, the volume of the microspheres can rapidly expand to several dozen times their original size, thereby achieving the foaming effect.
